What's GBOB?
It'd actually pronounced as "G-BOB". It's stand for Global Battle of the Bands.
Here come some of the explanation and brief history about GBOB from Wikipedia:The Global Battle of the Bands (GBOB) is an international Battle of the Band competition, where bands from many different countries compete in original live music performance. It was held for the first time in 2004 and the prize is 100,000 American dollars pack, the GBOB special gold trophy, the chance to go on a world tour and the title of "The Best New Band In The World".

Thanks to Nuffnang, I was invited for the Press Conference of GBOB Malaysia as the media.
It was held at The Celebrities Hall of Music, SOHO, Solaris Mont Kiara
I was usher by a group of Band lovers.
The place is awesome & it's totally great for event.
There's also performance by the champion for the GBOB Malaysia representative.

The Global Battle of the Band World Final 2010 will be held on 26th February 2011 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The search for the winning Malaysian band to represent the country at the GBOB World Finals 2010 will be carried through the nation. There will be a series qualifying heats in various live music clubs venue in Johor Bahru, Penang and around Klang Valley. This will culminate in a National Final where National Champion will be awarded RM 50,000 in cash and prizes and the right to be the official Malaysian representative to the GBOB World Finals 2010 with Malaysia as Host Country.
