1 father & 1 mother can take good care of many children...
But many children can't even take care of a father and a mother...
that's what usually we heard about...
In Confusion ideals, filial piety is one of the virtues to be held above all kindness...& most of the Chinese believe in Confusion ideals...
BUT....why???
From the survey carried out by the government not long ago...most of the abandoned old people were mostly CHINESE...& the statistic show that the figure is quite high...
We can't predict the future...
however...
I SERIOUSLY hope that 3 of us (Siblings) don't be 1 of them when we are adult...
Being filial, that's my promise to myself from now...
That's a part of movie "Money is not enough 2"...it's juz a movie but it reflects the real scene...

Better not giving the excuse for the only child in the family. He/she would say "Both parents of course can take care of me, how could I 1 person take good care of them?"
